Christians needed

If you are a Christian, would you consider moving to Cornwall and helping in the Lord’s work here in Newquay?

If this isn’t possible, do you know of someone who might?

If so, then please share this web page with them – and please pray for the work here.

At Newquay, we’ve had many blessings and encouragements, but our core membership is very small and the needs are great. We are very stretched. We need well-grounded, active and committed Christians of all ages to join us, who are Baptists/evangelicals.

In Matthew 9, Jesus said: “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”

So this is our prayer. Please give it some thought and prayer – as to whether you may know someone suitable.

We don’t want to take people away from vital roles at other churches around the country. But sometimes larger congregations can spare people – and see it as an important way to help smaller churches.

This is not a paid position or a special title of any sort. We just need other Christians to join us. Help is needed in all sorts of areas, from meals and hospitality, through to lifts, visiting/friendship, encouraging people on the fringe of our church and different kinds of outreach.

About Newquay Baptist Church
We’re an independent, reformed Baptist church in close fellowship with Grace Church St Austell, Truro Evangelical Church, Falmouth Evangelical Church and Penzance Baptist Church.

We are active in regular outreach locally with the Faith Mission and we’ve seen some encouragements this year.

If you would like to know any more about the church, please complete your details below.
