Parking

Our church building is in Chapel Hill, Newquay, TR2 1ND (also see directions).

It’s possible to drop off car passengers outside in Chapel Hill but there’s no easy parking here, so it’s best to park nearby and walk. Here’s some advice on the best parking options.

The map below shows the position of the church, behind the Lighthouse cinema.

Car parks: These can cost about £2.90 for two hours – or £2 for unlimited parking after 4pm.

The Google map (above) shows the nearby St George’s car park shaded in grey (it’s below Manor Road). See directions which show how to walk from here to the church (with photos).

The Google map below shows this car park and other large ones in the town. The Manor Road car park is also an easy walk. At the bottom of the map, you’ll see Tregunnel Hill marked. There is a larger council car park here. But be aware it’s a 10-15 min walk to the church up and downhill. Gallant drivers could always drop off passengers by the church then join them shortly after! (when you walk into town, head for the Lighthouse Cinema – we’re just behind it).

Free on-street parking: It’s worth trying St Johns Road, Jubilee St, St Cuthberts or St Mary’s Road.

Out of season parking: Newquay relaxes its rules between Oct 1-April 30 so you can park in many roads that have yellow lines. Check nearby signs to be 100% sure.

You can also find an easy-to-print PDF map with directions and parking suggestions to bring it with you if that helps.
