We meet midweek at our church building for Bible study and prayer. You’re welcome to join us.
Our midweek meetings are on Tuesdays at 7.30pm at the church, usually in the back room.
Please note: Occasionally, our midweek meeting is moved to another night if there’s a special meeting taking place – or to a different location. Check our church diary.
These Tuesday Bible studies allow us to look at God’s Word in more detail. This is followed by prayer.
We also meet for a shorter time of prayer on most Sundays at 5.15pm, just before our 6pm service.
The Bible gives us many encouragements that God will hear our prayers if we seek Him in the right way. And there can be a special blessing when Christians pray together.
In fact, many Christians will testify that God has answered prayer – especially in forgiving our sins and making us His children through the Lord Jesus Christ.
These verses encourage us to pray together – and to know that God can hear and answer us:
“(The Lord says) For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” 1 John 5:14
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7
